Anchor beach set

A large beach tote and a small pouch to go with it, in cotton fabric with blue anchors. Red brings the contrast: the handles and the striped lining. It takes a towel, a book and everything else you need on the beach.

Why I made it

I made the set as a present for my mum before her summer holiday in Greece.

What I learned

It was my first time using interfacing in bags. It's why both hold their shape.

Finished

Anchor print — There is iron-on interfacing under the outer fabric, which is why both bags keep their shape.
